About Wellness Embodied Cairns in Cairns North
At Wellness Embodied we promote healthy, pain-free bodies through physiotherapist-led holistic treatment. We also provide craniosacral therapy, medical acupuncture and 1:1 Clinical Pilates.
A typical physiotherapy session at Wellness Embodied lasts for 30 minutes. In that time, well chat about your problem and complete a tailored physical assessment followed by hands on treatment and re-assessment so you can observe improvements. Youll be given an explanation of your pain and symptoms, including any predisposing bio-mechanical, strength or other issues which you may have. Finally, you will be given some exercises and/ or techniques to help with your own pain and restore strength and movement as needed. We may also utilise taping, medical acupuncture and other modalities depending on the client and their needs.
We dont believe most people need physiotherapy treatment forever and we wont tell you that you do. We do believe in giving you the best possible information, based on years of study, Clinical experience and the latest research, to enable you to make your own choices. We will happily refer to a doctor, specialist, massage therapist, alternative practitioner, psychologist, etc., if on discussion and consultation with you we both decide this is something you will benefit from also. Remember, we know youre a whole person, not just a body part!
